My research with white liquid enamel has developed a variety of effects that can be achieved with the technique of sgraffito and torch firing.

All of the colors in this work are accomplished by using the torch and over-firing of the enamel surface with only white, black, and clear liquid enamel.

Rich purples, oranges, yellows, reds, greens, and golds can be coaxed out of the bright white enamel with this process.
