Ken Bova is a Past President of the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG) with work in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian, Racine, Tacoma, Philadelphia, and Georgia Art Museums among others. He has presented workshops nationwide in places such as Haystack, Penland, Arrowmont, Idyllwild, and Peter's Valley.

Bova taught for nearly 20 years in the Jewelry/Metals program at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana and a semester in MSU's study abroad program in Corciano, Italy.

In 2010 he accepted a position as a visiting artist at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. In 2012 he accepted a tenure track position there as an Associate Professor and teaches senior studio courses, enameling, and is Area Co-coordinator overseeing the graduate program in Metal Design
